We are having a party for him at school tomorrow and one at Monkey Bizness on Saturday. He is talking about his birthday parties non-stop!! He specifically asked for a Batman/Spiderman cake for his party on Saturday so I hope that the bakery is able to create what I requested. I have been bad about taking pictures with my camera lately but promise to take some this weekend and post them soon.
This kid is talking so much. Too much. We thought we had a personal comentator with Cole, but now we have 2...
Cole and Reid's favorite thing lately is reading Bible stories before bed. They don't want me to read any other book and they have a million. Reid's favorite story is "The Good Samaritan". I love that he loves that story.
We have Reid's 3 year well visit this coming Monday morning. I took the day off and we will go do something fun together so that we can continue celebrating his birthday. I am so thankful for this Little Turtle, that all I want to do is celebrate his birth!
Easter this year was a blast. The day was beautiful. The kids got 4 Easter baskets each with all kinds of fun stuff! We enjoyed lunch with the Rentfro side and dinner with the Clarke side. It's a little hectic to have both sides of the family in the same town during holiday's (planning how we'll split our time), but it's also great that we get to spend time with both. Growing up, I didn't have the opportuntiy to spend all of the holidays with our grandparents/extended family because we didn't live in the same country. It makes me happy to know that the boys get to spend time with both sets of grandparents! They LOVVVVEEEEE spending time with the them!
Tuesday, I took Cole and Reid to their Dentist appointment. I asked my parents to join me and I think we all enjoyed the visit at the Dentist. Thank you Mami and Papi for always being so happy to help! I don't know what I would do without you guys. :) Cole acted like a pro during his check up and cleaning...... He acts so mature in these situations. Reid was GREAT during his xrays and check up. No cavities so far on either of the boys, which makes us very happy! Reid's teeth looked so clean that Dr Pittman said he didn't need to have his teeth cleaned until the next visit in 6 months. He asked us to keep doing what we are doing (for us to be the ones to brush their teeth) until they are 8 years old. I had no idea we had to do it for that long! Sort of contradictory because our Pediatrician encourages us to let the boys brush their own teeth. Glad I didn't listen... :)
Have a great rest of the week! I will post pictures soon.
Getting his xrays at the dentist. He looks SO little to me in this picture (and hes on a booster chair). |
He did such an AMAZING job! Shame on Mommy for being concerned that he would hate the dentist. |
Dr. Pittman checking things out. I think its cool that he doesn't wear typical doctor gear. This makes the kids more comfortable. |
Cousins. Will and Reid during Easter. |
